Types of Shelter Companies in Mexico

• Manufacturing Communities: These companies offer full shelter services and own real estate. Customers are responsible to provide assets (machines and inventory), the know-how for production and sign a service contract.
• Shelter services only: Very similar to manufacturing communities but without real estate.
• Mexico shelter company for start-ups: Shelter services are provided only for a period defined, after such period, the customer creates its own entity.
• Contract manufacturing with some shelter services: A Mexican contract manufacturer provides products or services with some additional shelter services as needed.
• Real estate companies that also offer shelter services: Their main function is real estate. May offer some shelter services, but not as specialized and as deep as manufacturing communities.
• Pick and choose shelter services: Not very common, small companies that offer menu-type shelter services.
